Privacy policy
What we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do about it.
Last updated September 1, 2026.
01Introduction
This policy explains what Peacock Silver Inc, operating Pulse Storage, does with personal data when you visit this site, buy a membership, or use your account. We are the controller of that data. Our registered address is 4716 Mountlake St, Chubbuck, ID 83202-1732, United States. For anything below, write to privacy@pulsestorage.net.
02What we collect
- Account data. Your email address, password hash, and the settings on your account.
- Order data. What you bought, when it renews, the amount, currency, country, and the last four digits and card brand returned to us by the payment processor.
- Support data. Messages you send us and our replies.
- Licence data. Which vouchers have been issued to your account, and when.
- Technical data. IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and similar log data.
- Marketing attribution. A click identifier stored in the
_pulse_storage_attrcookie so we can tell which campaign an order came from.
We never receive your full card number. It is entered directly into the payment processor’s hosted frame and does not pass through our servers.
We also do not receive the contents of your files. The storage application runs on your device and reports to its own producer under the notice presented to you at installation. Managing your licence does not give us a view of what you store.
03How we use it
- To create your account and give you the membership you paid for.
- To take payment, renew, refund, and prevent fraud.
- To issue and support licence vouchers.
- To answer support requests.
- To send service email such as receipts, renewal reminders, and security notices. These are not marketing and you cannot opt out of them while you hold a membership.
- To keep the service secure, and to meet our legal obligations.
- To measure how this site is used, through Google Tag Manager.
04Legal bases (EU, UK, and EEA)
- Contract. Account, order, licence, and support data, so we can deliver what you bought.
- Legitimate interest. Security, fraud prevention, service improvement, and attribution of our own advertising.
- Consent. Marketing email, and any extra cookies we later put behind an in-page choice. You may withdraw it at any time.
- Legal obligation. Tax and accounting records.
06International transfers
Some providers are outside your country. Where data leaves the EEA or the UK, we rely on an adequacy decision or on Standard Contractual Clauses together with appropriate technical measures. Write to privacy@pulsestorage.net for details of the safeguards used.
07How long we keep it
- Account data: until you close the account, then up to 30 days.
- Billing and tax records: 7 years, as accounting law requires.
- Support threads: 24 months.
- Licence issuance records: for as long as the voucher may need to be validated or replaced.
- Web logs: a short rolling window for security and debugging.
08Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit. Passwords are hashed, never stored in readable form. Licence vouchers are held encrypted, and administrative access is limited to staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a unique password and tell us if something looks wrong.
09Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may ask for a copy of your data, its correction or deletion, a portable export, restriction of processing, or you may object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can also withdraw consent at any time.
Email privacy@pulsestorage.net and we will reply within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
10United States state privacy rights
If you live in a state with a consumer privacy law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you will not be treated differently for asking. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising in the sense those laws use, and we honour Global Privacy Control signals where required.
11Children
This service is not for children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13, or under 16 in the EEA. If you believe a child has given us data, write to privacy@pulsestorage.net and we will delete it.
12Changes to this policy
We will post any update here and change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will email account holders at least 14 days beforehand.
